Privacy Policy

This page explains what data is processed when you use plwebsites.de, why, and on what legal basis. PLWebsites is operated by Patryk Lisowski as a sole proprietorship registered in Germany — see the Imprint for the full controller details.

No cookie banner — by design

This site uses no tracking or analytics cookies and sets no cookies of its own. Your language preference is encoded in the URL (e.g. /en/, /de/). Your theme preference (dark/light) is stored in your browser's localStorage — a technical/functional storage that is exempt from cookie-consent requirements under GDPR. Because of this, no consent banner is necessary or shown.

Contact form

When you submit the contact form, your name, email, optional company name, optional project type, optional budget range, and message are transmitted to Resend (the email service used to deliver the message) and then to the inbox info@plwebsites.de. Legal basis: your consent given by submitting the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and the steps necessary to enter into a contract on your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Inquiry data is retained for as long as needed to respond and complete any follow-up engagement, then deleted on request.

Anti-spam (Cloudflare Turnstile)

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that contact-form submissions come from humans, not bots. Turnstile processes minimal data including your IP address and basic browser information for bot detection. It is cookie-free by design. Legal basis: legitimate interest in preventing spam (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Hosting (Vercel)

This site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Vercel processes server access logs (including IP addresses) for the technical operation, security, and performance of the site. Logs are retained for a short period and then deleted. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel is US-based and adheres to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Analytics

If Vercel Analytics is enabled, aggregated, anonymous metrics about page views and country-level visitor regions are collected without cookies and without identifying individual visitors. No personal profile is built and no cross-site tracking occurs.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to: access the data we hold about you, request correction or deletion, restrict or object to processing, and receive a copy of your data in a structured format. You can also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority for your location. To exercise any of these rights, email info@plwebsites.de.
